Working Smarter not Harder

So only a few days into my crazy quest of creating over one hundred sites in the next sixty days, something hit me, im working hard but im not working smart. I created my first affiliate sniper site for a product that will pay me over $40 for every sale, and created several articles for that site. In total the creation took me approximately one hour which wasnt as bad as I had originally anticipated, but throughout that process I was thinking to myself, is it more beneficial to create 50 sites and would ultimately get trickle traffic, or create 5-10 “super sites” getting hundreds if not thousand visitors per day. Lets look at the math, five sites that get 1000 visits per day, is five thousand total visits to the five sites. If one percent of the five thousand people actually buy a product that comes out to fifty people. If the average earnings per sale is $30 that is an astonishing $1,500 per day. Contrarily If i were to make 50 sites they would all need to get 100 visits per day at convert at the same rate to yield the same results. So the question for me is, am I better at churning out sites, or getting traffic, and I think the answer is the latter.

Now obviously I do not know if I will get one percent conversions, or if I can get 1,000 visits per day to each site, but I think I have a better chance at getting 1,000 visits to each of my five sites, than I do getting 100 to fifty sites. Part of this challenge was to make money, but the other part was to do some testing to see what works, and I think ive figured it out. You should put more time in to less sites, rather than trying to micro manage tons of sites.

With that I have decided that for the affiliate sniper challenge I will not be making fifty sites but rather, I will create 5-10 sites all on self hosted wordpress blogs, with a minimum of five articles each and some preliminary backlink work done on each. Im not sure if ill be able to pull in $1,500 a day with this process or anything even close, but youll miss 100% of the shots that you dont take, as they say icon smile Working Smarter not Harder .

Everything else on the challenge will stay the same, as I have some good ideas for my amazon and clickbank snipers which make them a little less involved, but I want to have multiple streams of income so if one goes bust the others are still intact. And as always, PF.com will become my main super site, with the 120 posts in the next 60 days.

What do you think about my change of direction? Smart? Any comments?
