The Key to Making Money Online…….Content!!
For those of you who read the title of this post and immediately were turned away, due to the fact that more and more people are writing about this, I apologize but I feel that it is something that is very important for my readers to note. When I first broke into the online world of making money, I was under the impression that regardless of your content, if you had a big marketing budget you could make alot of money and get alot of help from places like Google and Yahoo in the process, obviously that was a big mistake in my thinking. It turns out that you can make a ton of money online, with a relatively small budget if you just make quality content.
So what do you mean when you say create content?
For the most part, many of the people reading this blog are also bloggers themselves, and therefore content creators. When you create rich, quality content you are giving search engines like Google, Yahoo, and MSN the ability to optimize your site within their search engines. The more content you produce, the more pages you have indexed within the search engine. The more pages you have in a search engine the better chances you have for people searching and finding you, which means more traffic, which translates into more income.
Why am I writing about this?
Its simple really, as of late I have become very interested with the idea of creating content. That is the reasoning behind my new blog Sports@PeterFoti.com. I want to be able to deliver content amongst different niches, which is also why I have already begin production on an entire blog network! Other content websites of mine include Haiti and Free Credit Repair and Razor Blades all of these sites receive daily organic traffic from search engines due to the fact that they contain 100% unique and quality content. This unique and quality content translates into better served adsense ads, which also translates to higher earnings!
Whats the moral of this jibberish?
I realize that I may have been rambling right there, but I want to make something clear to all aspiring internet entrepreneurs. Regardless of the topic, niche, advertiser base etc. the most important thing above and beyond any marketing plan or budget, is content. If you are writing on your blog day in and day out you can be assured that you will make money online. Now I do not want you to get the idea that you should make 20 posts a day for 3 days and call it quits. It needs to be a consistent effort over a sustained period of time. That is how you will keep the search engines crawling and the income flowing.

It is interesting to see posts about content for… 2-3-4 years now?
Nothing changes. Actually it depens on how much effort you want to put. If you are happy with creating 1000 sites with generated content and earn 100$ per month (each) – why not?
If you prefer to do “writing” instead – your call, but this is not the key to making money online.

Very interesting take on the subject. I will reiterate once more that yes Content very much is the key to making money online. Yes you can use generated content but I am yet to find someone who has 1000 or even 1 generated content website that is making $100 a year let alone $100 a month. I was not talking about doing content writing for others, as I feel the same way about that as I do web design, do it for yourself and make yourself the money that people are making off you.
Granted, their are other factors that contribute to making money online and I did not even touch on those (will in a future post) but before you can build links, or buy advertising, or even have the slightest expectation of making money, you need content. Whether its forums, blogs, etc. content is king. Now obviously some sites like my proxies or an arcade and other things of that nature are not as content intensive but you can rest assured that the Arcade with a unique description for every game, or the Proxy with a unique proxy article on the homepage will do much better in the Serps and overall success as opposed to those who use the same crap over and over.
