My Life for the Next 60 Days
Well I have been doing quite a bit of reading as of late, and have come to the conclusion that I am simply not working hard enough. I am not putting in the 22 hour (yes 22 hour) days, required to be the success that I see myself to be. Granted I am a student and it can be hard at times to put in such insane hours on the computer without having your eyes bleed, but rather than watching NetFlix, playing xbox, or partying I am going to devote myself entirely to the web (for at least the next 60 days). I have come up with a list of tasks that I am going to try and complete over this next sixty day period all of which revolve around making money online and if executed properly will certainly propel my bank roll to heights I have never seen before. There are only two ways that I know of to make money in this world. The first is to get an inheritance, which wont be happening for me, and the second is to work your ass off. Gary Vaynerchuk said it best when he said “If you wanna make millies you gotta work hard, if you wanna make billies you gotta bleed outta your fuckin eyeballs” and its so true on so many levels, its something I need to think about more and more as I move forward. That being said, below is the list of tasks that I am looking to rifle through over the next 2 month period.
120 Blog Posts on PeterFoti.com
seo-content-creation/”>Content Creation is the most important aspect when it comes to making money online. While link building/seo is a close second, if you dont have any content how can you optimize it for the search engines? With that in mind, I have decided that over the next 60 days I am going to churn out at least one hundred and twenty posts here on PeterFoti.com. Originally my goal was 30 posts in 30 days, but anyone can write a post a day, the real players are out there pumping out several a day. By writing 120 posts in 60 days I will be able to expand Pf.com both for the search engines and for my readers. Not only will I have 120 new pages of content, but when you add in the new tag and category pages that will be created, I expect the site to grow by at least 400 total new pages. Thats pretty powerful stuff, and when I get to doing more SEO work for the site, I will have alot more to work with.
50 Affiliate Sniper Sites
For those of you that are unaware of what a sniper is, the concept here is pretty simple. You take an affiliate product and you make a website about that one particular product. You write content about that product, and look to get that products website indexed in the search engines, to begin making sales. Most affiliate marketers leverage PPC traffic and landing pages, which is fine if you have a bank roll and really know what your doing. Unfortunately for me, I know SEO alot more than I know PPC and would rather put in labor for profit, than try and use an arbitrage type of system with buying traffic on PPC and selling products to make up for losses and ultimately profit. Once I have created the site, I will do some preliminary link building to the site as well, because a site with no traffic is just as good as no site at all, and if im not buying traffic I need to get it from somewhere and im choosing to get it from the search engines. These sites will take an awfully lot of research and development, but I am confident that I can get each site doing an average of $20 a day, which would mean an extra $30k a month in revenue. Not bad
50 Amazon Sniper Sites
The concept here is the same as with the affiliate snipers, the only difference is the fact that the products here will not be true affiliate products, rather, they will be off the amazon shelves exclusively. I have never done anything with amazon in the past, but have heard of others having success with sites like these and its something I am interested in pursuing. The difference with the amazon sites and the affiliate sites however is the fact that I will not be doing any seo work at the start. I will wait to see if my trickle traffic does anything for me in terms of revenue and move forward from there.
50 Support Blogs
A support blog is generally a blogger or wordpress blog (free) that internet marketers use as a form of link building. Each of my support blogs will have 3-5 posts on them of approximately 200 words each, and I will use them to send links to some of my web 2.0 properties. The great thing about these comes from the fact that if/when they ever do get some traffic they can become a nice form of passive income.
10,000 Tweets
This goal has no official monetary value attached, and many internet marketers would write it off as being a waste of time. I however am not a true internet marketer in the sense that I have a strong belief in what social media can do for brands, contrarily I am not a true social mediaite in the sense that I believe in SEO, backlinks, etc. I like to think of myself as a mix between Gary Vaynerchuk and Grizzly. Both of whom are extremely hard working individuals but with very different outlooks in terms of the internet and business. Getting back to this goal however, this will require me to sent approximately 167 tweets per day, which seems like a lot, especially coupled with everything else that I am doing, but I have a strong belief in the long term benefits of Twitter so I am willing to do it.
25 ClickBank Snipers
The idea here is the same that it was with amazon and other affiliate snipers, the difference however comes from the fact that everything I will be promoting on these is a click bank product.
30 Videos on FotiSports.com
This is going to be the easiest for me by far, and it stems from the fact that for me, talking about sports is fun and easy. My co-editor Cory, decided to leave the site a few weeks ago, which explains why their has been nothing new on there. I was debating whether or not I wanted to keep up with the site, but I have made my decision and I am going to run with it.
Thats all the goals for these next 60 days, and boy will this get interesting! Its going to be an insane amount of work, but I know that the results will justify the hours put in, so its not something im worried about.
For me having challenges like this are what keep me focused, and on target so I look forward to having more of these in the future. 1000 snipers in 60 days perhaps? Eh, thats a little rough, but well see
Take care for now, ill be posting again in a few hours im sure
