My Favorite TV Shows
I wasnt sure what to write about today, and considering that most everything else that I talk about is make money online related, I figured this would be a nice way to change it up. A great conversation starter for people that you dont really know is what are some of your favorite TV shows? Ill do my best to answer that today and for the sake of my fingers ill stick to my top three, although I enjoy quite a few.
The Sopranos
First off I am 100% Italian, and very proud of it, but I just dont understand why people think this is offensive to Italians. Different tv shows and movies come out all the time portraying people in a certain way. The italian started the mob, and we have to get over it at some point, I did a long time ago. In any event, I was to young for my parents to let me watch this show when it first came out around 7 years ago, but I tried to sneak a peek as often as I could. This past summer I bought the box set, and watched every episode in about a week (I dont sleep much) Shows like this, and movies like Goodfellas and Casino, in my opinion are among the greatest and something I thoroughly enjoy watching.
The Jersey Shore
This one is probably more controversial than the sopranos, but for some reason I am so hooked on the jersey shore. When it first came out I was skeptical, but I have to say that while I might not agree with everything they do, I do not think it gives Italians a bad name, nor do I think that as many people that say they dont like it, really dont like it. Its intriguing and certainly keeps your attention, and while it was on I never missed an episode. I also have my jersey shore dvd on pre-order so ill be able to watch it all over again on February 23rd.
Entourage
Entourage, in my humblest of opinions is hands down the best tv show on air today. The characters mesh well together, its a great story line, and I have seen every episode at least three times in the past year. I started watching it when it first came out and absolutely dread the day when it will end. The bonus of course is the fact that all of my friends watch it, so it makes for a good time on Sunday nights when its on.
Other shows I enjoy are the office, two and a half men, southpark, family guy etc etc. What are some of your favorite?
