Making Money Online with Hub Pages Update
I began my personal hub challenge on May 29th with a Hub about how I use Twitter to expand my social presence, and my business. Since then I have created over twenty new hubs all targeted towards keywords that I feel I can rank myself for in Google. With Hub Pages this is especially easy being that the domain on which you are posting has Google authority, page rank, and traffic already built in, all you need to do is create some content and promote the pages. Although I prefer not to release the names or URL’s of my Hubs (they are not located on the pjfoti account) I will say how it is that I go about creating the hubs.
Content
With each and every hub that I create I am sure to get each one over 500 words, although I generally feel more comfortable with 600-700 words. This ensures a higher hub score on hub pages itself, and in the even of a Google overlook these hubs have quality content that would be very useful to whomever decides to read them. Also within the hub I make sure to include the news capsule which gives me fresh content every so often. The fresh content bonus is a very real thing when it comes to the Google game, and your hub page score. The freshness of your content can help to give you higher rankings within the search engines as well as give you a higher hub score simply because you have taken the time to update your hub with more content rather than just letting it sit there. Another capsule that I always include is the Amazon capsule. Although this has nothing to do with the content, and I have not yet made any sales, I feel that Amazon is a very viable money maker for the hubs once they are receiving targeted search engine traffic.
Promotion
With each hub that I put online I make sure to get several links to the site using various methods. Although I cannot currently divulge the information due to the fact that I plan on writing an e-book about how to make money with hub pages in the future, I will say that if you plan on making money with hubs be sure to follow the same rules you would for a normal niche site and be sure not to get to many links to soon.
Linking Back to Money Sites
At this point in time I have not gone back and sent links from my hubs to my free credit repair or my razor blade care sites, however I do plan on doing so in the near future. One of the cool things about Hub pages is the fact that once your author score is over 75 all of the links you place in a hub are do-follow which means you get SEO juice out of them.
Yesterday I created seven new hubs, and I plan on continuing that pace to create my 100 hubs before July 1. So stay tuned for more information on how to make money with hubs, and for the release date of my own personal hub pages e-book.
